Meet Our Founder, Erin Cecchini.

Five Star Performance Horses, owned by Erin Cecchini, is built on a passion for horses and a dedication to excellence. Erin graduated from Cazenovia College in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in Equine Business Management. Since opening its doors in 2009, Five Star has produced numerous national and state champions, including the winner of equitation over fences and high point 14–18 champion at the prestigious All American Quarter Horse Congress.

Five Star Performance Horses located in Middletown, Connecticut. Erin graduated from Cazenovia College in Equine Business Management. Since dedicated to helping riders achieve peak performance. With a team of experienced professionals, five-time producers, including the winner of equitation over fences and high point 14–18 champion at the prestigious Quarter Horse Congress.

The current facility built in 2019, offers a modern, welcoming environment to support horses. Erin has celebrated NSBA World Champions, and multiple Regional and State Champions.

At Five Star, we pride ourselves on maintaining a family-oriented atmosphere, welcoming riders of all ages—from children to adults. While we have a special love for quarter horses, we warmly welcome horses of all breeds.

Erin Cecchini

Erin Cecchini

Erin began riding at age 7 and grew into a World and Congress Champion. Known around the barn as Miss Erin, she takes riders from their first lesson to top-level competition, teaching them how to ride, care for and connect with their horses. She frequently travels and competes alongside her students.

Martina, Five Star instructor

Martina

Raised with horses, Martina built her foundation in barrel racing and mounted games. Today she is a primary riding instructor, assistant IEA team coach and manager of the lesson program, helping create a safe and inspiring environment for every rider.

Lily, Five Star instructor

Lily

Lily has ridden since age three, competing in CHSA hunter/jumpers and equitation and serving as an IEA point rider. Having grown up in the Five Star program, she now brings years of teaching experience, a calm approach and genuine passion for helping riders succeed.
