Showing opportunities
Prepare for success in the show ring with our comprehensive showing program. We participate in local shows to National and World Championship show opportunities.
Five Star proudly participates in the Connecticut Horse Shows Association (CHSA) show circuit—one of the region's most established and reputable associations, offering a wide range of rated hunter, jumper, and equitation divisions for riders of all ages and experience levels.
Whether you're new to showing or an experienced competitor, Five Star provides coaching, training, and horse care tailored to help riders succeed throughout the CHSA circuit.
Five Star Performance Horses offers participation in the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA)—a national riding organization designed for middle school and high school riders who want to compete in a team-based format.
IEA allows riders in grades 4–12 to compete without needing to own a horse. At every show, riders draw a horse supplied by the host barn, encouraging strong horsemanship, adaptability, and teamwork.
IEA is an excellent introduction to competition and a great pathway for riders looking to prepare for varsity-level teams, collegiate riding, and advanced show circuits.
